Biography

Rob Miller began his career in safety in 1996 upon graduating from Murray State University - GO RACERS!!! - with a BS in Occupational Safety and Health. Rob spent his first years with a St. Louis based construction company working in oil refineries and chemical plants throughout the country. He spent the next stint of his career in the utility industry supporting generation, transmission and energy delivery services as well as leading the safety management effort with the company's contractor work forces. For the last five years he has been back on the contractor side with Keeley Construction leading the safety efforts of their heavy civil, building, industrial and paving groups. He holds the Certified Safety Professional, Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician, Certified Utility Safety Professional, Certified Instructional Trainer and Certified Safety Consultant designations. 

Rob has amassed over 1500 hours over the last eleven years training and educating apprentices, experienced craft personnel, management, owners and his safety professional peers imparting knowledge on safety protocols, risk assessment, and best practices.

Rob is an active member of the St. Louis Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals and has been the Chair of their Scholarship and Foundation Committee for the past decade. He also sits on the SLC3 (St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers) Health and Safety Committee and is actively involved with the AGC of Missouri.

At the heart of Rob's world is his cherished family—a loving wife - Susan, and their four children - Megan, Colton, Payton and Emma (Lou) of whom he could not be prouder.

In essence, Rob Miller is not merely a safety professional, but a leader dedicated to shaping the future of safety practices in the industry.
