2025 (4th) Construction Safety Conference: Safety Knowledge Foundations
The Craig and Diane Martin National Center for Construction Safety (NCCS) at the University of Kansas (KU) is excited to announce the 4th annual Construction Safety Conference (CSC 2025), scheduled for August 6-7, 2025, in Lawrence, Kansas. The theme of the conference, “Safety Knowledge Foundations,” was chosen to address the critical need for enhancing safety practices within the construction industry. As we seek to improve overall occupational safety and health, it is vital to bridge the gap between academia, industry professionals, and government bodies. This conference aims to generate and build foundations of safety knowledge that can be directly translated into practice, fostering long-lasting positive change. CSC 2025 is planned as an in-person event, featuring potential poster sessions.
Keynote speakers will cover essential topics such as improving workplace safety, addressing chronic diseases and conditions prevalent in construction, and reducing musculoskeletal disorders through innovative technologies and Prevention through Design (PtD) strategies. The insights shared by renowned experts in occupational health and safety will highlight the latest advancements in the field while also emphasizing the best practices necessary for creating a safer working environment. By focusing on these critical areas, the conference aspires to empower all stakeholders to actively participate in promoting the well-being of construction workers.
We look forward to hosting you at CSC 2025 as we work together to shape the future of workers’ safety, health, and well-being!
